Do you love a fresh new planner? Love to color code, tab, itemize and micromanage your whole goddamn life, whenever possible? Me too. Sometimes I wish it was literally my job to just make lists, cross things off, plan and schedule all of life’s minutia, and do it again the next day. Not really. But I do find it so satisfying to put things in colorful boxes. That’s why a little over 3 months ago I bit the bullet and bought a fancy new day planner, complete with daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual pages. It’s the first time I’ve invested more than about $10 in a planner. I’m frugal AF, so this is kind of a big deal. Because I’m the type of person who literally Googles “best tweezers” before committing my hard-earned $8 to pluck unruly hairs in weird places, I spent an inordinate amount of time combing through the Google search results for things like “best journals for bloggers”
I check in on Yelp at a coffee shop in Dallas, Texas called Mudsmith and take the last window seat.
